Vélib - le film
I posted this over at Copenhagen Cycle Chic, but thought I'd include it here, too.

Hey, I enjoyed that! Loved how you alternated between moving images and then three stills at 'ciao ciao ciao'.
With the velib system, did you ever find there wasn't available stand you could leave the bike at? There must be many more stands than bikes, or else you would have big trouble...
But what happens if, say, everyone is riding to some big event, so there are hundreds of bikes converging on a particular location? There might not be enough 'docks' for them.
Or am I just worrying too much? :o)
Thanks!
Once we found a full bike rack but we just rode a bit further and found another one with room. The bike racks are, i seem to recall, 300 metres apart so you can always find one.
The bike rack near our hotel was often empty, so we'd have to walk a bit further to find a bike.
There are trucks that drive around and redistribute the bikes regularly.
I think people will figure it out if they went to an event or gathering.
