The Bathtub Bicycle

Bathtub Bike
It was hot last weekend. Lulu fancied a splish-splash in the front yard.
Dilemma.
The garden hose is in the back yard and I couldn't be bothered to drag it all the way around to the front to fill her little bathtub.
Solution.
I rolled the Bullitt over to the tap, filled it up and rolled the Bullitt round the front.

I should patent this. For some strange reason there is a misconception that people who cycle to work need showers on the far end. Wouldn't sell in Denmark, though. Cycling to work is largely a leisurely, casual affair during which you get to experience your city, the weather and your fellow, human-powered 'commuters'.

Bain en biciclette, eh? Not sure I can top that : )

Many are appalled to find out that, for me, riding to work takes about the same time, maybe a little more, than driving. Why would I ride if it takes more time? I inform them that I could easily shave off about 30 minutes each way, but I enjoy the ride too much to rush : )
