Speed Limit Lottery - Win Cash and Prizes! Fun Theory Winner

The winning entry in the FunTheory.com contest is this one. The Speed Camera Lottery. Violators pay money into a pot. To qualify for the winning prize, don't speed. Interesting theory. Fun may be an exagerration, compared with many of the other creative entries in the contest on the FunTheory.com site.

FunTheory is a site is dedicated to the thought that something as simple as fun is the easiest way to change people’s behaviour for the better. Be it for yourself, for the environment, or for something entirely different, the only thing that matters is that it’s change for the better.

Interesting to see a car company wanting to change driver behaviour.

You'd have to make the fines enormous to ensure that the vast majority of law-abiding drivers get a decent cheque in the mail!

I assume that all VWs sold henceforth in the US will go no faster than 65 miles per hour -- just so, you know, we can be sure this car company isn't blowing green smoke up out butts.

I appreciate that Mikael has helped us become more aware of this initiative by VW Sweden, so that we might become more aware of the murderous private automobile industry's latest forays into obfuscation.

They got these folks involved too http://www.thefuntheory.com/Jury which is pretty clever. Attractive, aren't they? Money talks, and the jury needs to be covered in bloody sh-t at the earliest opportunity.

The people who entered the contest are of course partly well-meaning fools, thinking that private urban automobiles can be "green" and that VW somehow cares about us.

Kim, I hope you understand that is just "green smoke", as Festoonic says.

You also gotta wonder about the provocative entries which we cannot see, such as http://www.hitler.org/artifacts/volkswagen/
