A wonderful promotional video for the City of Amsterdam with focus on their brilliant bicycle culture. The use of a rapper is always a questionable addition but hey...
I love this video - have sent it near and far - and I like the rap too. It is just rap in the sense of that being a popular musical genre nowadays - the voice and rhymes are very Dutch and not at all phoney "ghetto-fabulous". The montage is brilliant - look at the bicycles and the drawbridges, and how the camera photos the (yummy) young classical musician from Concertgebow on his route home.
It also has some subtle pointers for visitors: the risk of theft (told in a joking way) and also the importance of safely co-existing with trams, that other important sustainable traffic form in Amsterdam. Amsterdamers have no problem with the trams, but sometimes there are unfortunate accidents involving tourists. Fortunately rare, but one squished tourist is one too many.
Even the pensioner couple's puncture scarcely slows the pace. And not a frigging helmet in sight.
Well, there were definitely Americans among those chiming in in English. Think they weren't on bicycles simply because they were short-term tourists, walking.

Love this! We are trying to do something similar here in Edinburgh - here's hoping it can be half as good as Amsterdam!
@Better way to work, yous has got a looong way to go yet...
It does have a catchy beat that gets me moving. Could be compared used to a steady pedal pace?

Voici Montréal - et c'est mon vélo!
Unsurprising that they couldn't find a single US cyclist.
