Cargo Bike Winter

Winter Window Washer
At first glance I thought it was a window washer, but now I'm not so sure. That's a broom on the front of the cargo bike and another instrument. Whatever the case, a little snowstorm and a mean headwind isn't stopping him.

There is, however, an interesting detail that reflects the utility-minded Danish relationship to bikes. This chap has spent about 15,000 kroner (€2000/€2600) on a cargo bike - probably a bit more with that box with a lid - and yet look at the fenders. He hasn't bothered to peel off the blue, protective film.

It's a good bike, an expensive bike, a useful and practical bike but hey... it's just a bike.

The little green instrument is a claw grabber for reaching things or picking up things. Common among trashmen (no bending) or phyically disabled.

Are you sure it's just a bike? I see a good chance of transmission, and a source of income for residents of small cities ...

It is a probably the guy who picks up all the (happy Danish family) dogs which have been executed by the current right-wing government coalition.

Could it be that the blue film was left on exactly because it's protective? If the man is out to do a dirty job ...

Could be a bit like the mother in the '70s TV show Rhoda. She left the plastic on her sofa to keep it nice.

There is an HP all in one printer beside me which still has the plastic film on top of it.

hmm, could the logo on his shoe be a hint at where he works?
