Basicaly, they shout : Le vélo, le vélo, le vélo...It's a scene from a 1973 fiction film named "L'an 01" (of the post capitalist and industrial world...).Directed by Jacques Doillon and with a rather impressive cast (actors but also various artist, like comics author Gébé).You can see it on Youtube.
They are singing: Du velo, pas d'auto!
Yes ! ' Des vélos / Pas d'auto / Des vélos / Pas d'auto... /
And at 00"45, ' la voiture ça pollue et ça rend nerveux ', so... ' Car pollutes and makes feel nervous '

Et pas un seul maudit casque! Not surprisingly, I got a car ad (in French, but from here in Québec) before viewing the clip. From where I'm viewing it at least, here in Montréal, the daily motion shows several contemporary Vélorution clips as a sidebar, including one sponsored by La Mairie de Paris. Real cycling in Paris was pretty scary back in the 1970s - there was NO infrastructure and the cars were much more agressive than here. Although as Klaus Mohn says there are still a lot of shortcomings, I find it is day and night nowadays as compared to back then. So does a friend, formerly of Montréal, who has lived in Paris for a couple of decades now.
