We desperately need this in all of the US now. Thanks to our never-ending archaic urban and traffic planning, we now have 3 generations of people of which cycling was never mainstream as a means of transport. Additionally, current motorists need to be retrained by and large and the driving tests needs to be WAY more comprehensive and challenging. The fact that many of my friends don't even know that the 'shark teeth' triangles mean yield and that the solid white line means stop signifies how deficient our entire system is here in the US. My drivers permit and license test (both from PA) never even made any mention of pedestrians or cyclists. And with such incredibly crap infrastructure (if that even exists) it's no wonder >>>>1% of people commute by bike.
Coincidentally I accompanied my son to our local Safety Town today in Huntington, WV (USA). I wrote up my post then checked my RSS feed to find your video! http://www.asimplesix.com/2011/11/10/safety-town-teaches-bike-safety-too/ I have many more photos if anyone cares to see them.

I also sometimes visit such parks with my daughters. There are some(many) similar helpful parks also in Japan. Thanks.
