No seriously, Broadway Market has fabulous cycle culture aided and abetted by the Lock 7 cycle cafe (which I recall you've written about before) and the Regents Canal - it's a little taste of Europe here in London & it's nice to see it's reach climbs even to these elevated heights

bicycle planners usually say that getting to 5% is the hard part. from 5% to 15%+ is much easier.

Makes London's target of 5% by 2026 look even more bleak! And they are starting at 2%. I think cycling would grow naturally to 5% by 2026 anyway with transport getting so bad. In the UK it just seems to be when its too expensive to use cars and public transport people switch to bikes

Copenhagen target of achieving at least 50% of people to commute to work or school by bicycle by 2015, makes Scotland's ambition to acheve 10% of journeys being by bicycle by 2020, look really feeble. But then we are starting from a far lower base.
